Welcome Back

The Spirit Tree Inn, a Southern Arizona Bed and Breakfast, welcomes you back Back to peace and quiet. To a sky full of more stars than you can count. To a place somehow both familiar and always new. Back in time. To a truly comfortable, welcoming place where body and spirit can be refreshed and beautifully, deliciously nourished.

We offer an ideal setting, comfortable lodging accommodations, gracious hospitality and truly fine food to ease you into wonderful days, rested and nourished.

Our inviting Spirit Tree Inn sits on 52 private acres along one of Southern Arizona’s high desert creeks in the heart of the Coronado National Forest, three miles outside of the small town of Patagonia. We offer only six guest accommodations, so we do not bring you to a secluded place only to crowd you in with others. Our guest rooms and casitas are in keeping with the character of our historic buildings, which served as the headquarters of Rocking Chair Ranch more than 80 years ago – clean, unpretentious, and comfortable. Our 1830s Amish barn brought from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania adds another dimension to the property.

Our rates are discounted 15% for summer starting June 1, 2009 and ending September 1, 2009. All other discounts apply. We are also doing three nights for the price of two discounted nights as a summer special. This is good only Sunday through Thursday nights. Also, check our packages for other specials(the summer discount applies only to the room rate).

The Amish Barn at Spirit Tree will be the new venue for the first three summer concerts sponsored by the Santa Cruz Foundation for the Performing Arts. The second concert is Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 7:00 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door. For more information go to www.scfpapresents.org

Birders welcome! This is one of the seasons where you can spend many wonderful days observing birds in this part of Southeastern Arizona. The Sinaloa Wren is nesting and has been sighted in the area recently.

A special invitation and welcome to all who enjoy wine tasting. There are now more than ten wineries and tasting rooms in the Sonoita/Elgin area with more to come. Come and try a few and then come back and try a few more. A wide range of wines are available among all the wineries.
