Our summer rates will end August 31, 2010. Please check our rates page. We are celebrating our 5th Anniversary today, August 28, 2010. To continue our celebration we are extending our Three-for-two Package for the month of September. Stay for two nights and the third one is on the house. All nights must fall from Sunday through Thursday and must be contiguous. If you have stayed with us before and you book during the month of September, we are giving you an added discount. However, this does not apply to the 3 for 2 Package.
Our monsoon season has been wonderful. It is lush and green, green, green. If you have never seen or miss seeing such a sight, come on down!!!!! The temperature drops ten degrees when the sun goes down behind Red Mountain. The nights are wonderful. A light windbreaker is perfect after dark.
Birders welcome! This part of
Southeastern Arizona is truly a unique area where you can spend many
wonderful days observing birds. Many varieties can be seen in our patio
and on the property. Other unique birding areas are within a short
drive. Many hummingbirds have returned to our patio as they are no longer nesting. We have as many as 15 hummers darting around at one time, especially in the evenings. Many of our color birds have flown north to escape the heat although our Northern Cardinal is still around as well as our Vermillion Flycatcher and the Bell's Vireo. Hopefully many of the others will be back. An ash throated flycatcher was seen this morning(8/28) by one of our guests. For some unique pictures taken by Charles Grisham go to www.natureshots.smugmug.com .
